A Warning & New Treat Jar

We was getting ready for lights out on Saturday and mine mombean lit this candle on the table in front of the window. She thought it would make a nice picture to have me on the table too. So, being a nice guy, I jumped up and went to let her take mine picture. I'd never seen a candle before so I went over to have a closer look. I stuck my nose up to the bright part. It was hot, Hot, HOT!! I quickly ran away, and sneezed like a bazillion times!

Mombean got all upset and thought that I might have burned my nose.
She put out the candle and turned on all the lights, and picked me up and said:
"Oh, Beezer! Are you OK?? Sweetie, are you hurt?"

I'm fine! I didn't burn my nose or singe my whiskers or anything.
But candles are B-A-D! Like stoves and hot-as-hell box bad. Every kitty should stay away.

The really good news is that the new treat jar I won arrived.
Kintaro (and their mombean) at Kazoku Neko had an auction to raise funds for our kitty furr-ends in need and I was the highest bidder on a great new treat Jar.

Mombean thinks that is would be a good place to keep her chocolate kisses and the last chocolate Easter Bunny. I think it would be a purr-fect place for temptations.

Am I right or am I right? I mean it has cute kitty faces on it, why she thinks it would be for her treats I just don't know.

There were lots of great things in the auction and I think Kintaro did a really great job. ::Clap, clap, clap::
They helped some great kitties and we all had a
really great time.
Thank You!

Report From E. Bunny

Shhhhhhhh......
*Whispers*
I gotta be quiet here, Beezer is sound asleep.

But I thought I post a sneak peek at his basket:There's Temptations, of course, and a new Laser toy. He's never had one of these before, so I hope he likes it.
Plus two different kinds of seeds for his farm. On the right there are some of the wheat grass seed I know he likes so much; and on the left there are some clover seeds. He's never grown clover before, but as a Bun I can tell ya, clover is great!

Oh, you may have noticed, there is no basket grass in his basket. That's coz his mombean said "Absolutely no more basket grass for you!", after the incident Easter Day in aught 2. Now, that was a first class mess, I tell ya!

I hope he likes his basket.

To all good Kitties, Woffies, Bunnies, Furries and Beans,
Have a Hoppy, Hoppy day!!

Respectfully Submitted,
E. Bunny

P.S. Don't tell ..... I've hidden some chocolate for the mombean!

Farmer Beezer's Spring Report

***!!Update!!***

KC gave me the 'E' for Excellent award for this post!
I am honored, KC. Thank you so much; it is always great to know that your work is appreciated.
=================
Hi there fellow Farmers!
Beezer here with the Spring Has Sprung report.
Whether you are a big time farmer with a whole garden or just have a windowsill in an apartment, like me, its time to start thinkin' about the cat grass plantin' season.

This season I tried somthin' new. I had mine mombean go to the health food store to get my seeds. Here is what she got:
Its called 'Organic Sprouting, Hard Red Wheat Berries'.
What that means is its all natural, nothing added, and ready to grow.
Now there are 2 kinds of Red Wheat, hard and soft; tell ya the truth I don't know what the difference is, but the hard kind is workin' great for me. Oh, and 'Berries' is just fancy way to say 'seed'. Just have your bean go in to the health food store and ask for 'wheat grass seeds', tell 'em its fur growin' yer own, and I'm sure they can help you out.
Best of all it only costs 59 cents a pound! Heck, a little envelope package at the garden store, only enough for 1 plantin' was over 2 bucks! This is a real bargain. We got enough for 4 or 5 or even 6 plantin's for less than 25 cents. I'm sure that you can find that in the sofa cushions.

Here is what it looked like a week after plantin':
Startin' to come up nice huh?

A few days later it looks like this:
Ready for a test nibble I'd say.
Mmmmm, Mmm, Mmmm! Nothin' beats the taste of home grown green goodness.

So, give it a try you'll be glad ya did!
